Imation Corp., Oakdale, acquired intellectual property and other assets from Nine Technology. Terms were not disclosed. The assets include technology related to data deduplication, which eliminates redundancy in data backup and recovery. Nine Technology will continue to be a strategic partner for Imation as a provider of data protection offerings.
