During our time spent as a managed service provider, the leadership team of Nine Technology firmly believed they could build a stronger, faster and more comprehensive online backup and recovery system than the platforms that were out there. So CTO Alex Stoev and CEO Tom Gelson set to work and, over the next three years, crafted the Powered By Nine® data protection system.

In 2011, we’ve made the Powered By Nine® process available to our OEM and data center partners. The Powered By Nine® Platform is the centerpiece of Nine Technology’s offerings, and is available to partners who are ready to take full control of their branded online backup and recovery solution.

The Powered By Nine® Platform is designed for a large-scale installation. Partners will install the software across a dedicated back-end operating on a R.A.I.N.-based server architecture, implement the load balancer and pipeline for customer data, and configure the software settings for the Platform’s back-end.
